Dubai venue for global IT outsourcing meet

Dubai plays host to what is touted as the first global forum for the IT outsourcing industry: the World Outsourcing Forum, to be held on September 26 and 27 of this year. It aims to bring together leading outsourcing companies, suppliers, consultants, and experts from around the world to thresh out issues encountered in the global outsourcing field, as well as future business requirements and business opportunities.

Senior decision makers and industry influencers are expected to flock to Dubai during Gitex, international technology week held late in September for the forum. Host will be Dubai Outsource zone. Forum director James Freeman says, “Outsourcing has become a defining global strategy for many high-profile multinational businesses, but until now the industry has lacked a focal point to support these user and vendor companies.”

Prospective line up of activities include debates on industry standards and implementation, strategic growth through international partnerships, adaptability, suitability and operational strategies for turnaround, and case study discussions from leading multinationals.
