PeopleSupport Center: new Philippine regional BPO headquarters

PeopleSupport, Inc. proudly announces the upcoming launch of its spanking new BPO center in the heart of the Philippines’ prestigious business center. Operational migration to the BPO provider’s newly-constructed Philippine regional headquarters, the PeopleSupport Center in Makati, has been completed. The BPO center is among the first of facilities built in the Philippines to specifically cater to the BPO services.

A beaming Lance Rosenzweig, PeopleSupport CEO and Chairman proudly speaks of this milestone: "The PeopleSupport Center is a testament to the success of PeopleSupport in the Philippines. The PeopleSupport Center was completed ahead of schedule and the transition was seamless to our clients. We expect our new facility, with the most advanced technology and design, to further improve the quality and reliability of our services to clients worldwide."

The PeopleSupport Center currently houses around 1,700 employees that have moved into the facility – all the while without any business interruptions. The building is specifically-tailored to suit the needs of the BPO industry, is on a long-term lease and is aimed at eventually increasing PeopleSupport’s total seat capacity to more than 5,000 workstations for operations, management, and support staff.

The PeopleSupport Center comes fully equipped with new, top-of-the line telephony and data infrastructure to support the company’s world class service to its clients in the customer management and accounts receivable management service areas. It also hosts a 24/7 network operations center, IT helpdesk and workforce management, along with a highly secure and robust on-site data center with complete power back-up and high capacity diesel generators. The last of the IT applications will be joining those already transferred, within this month.
